Colin Adamo, Ph.D. is Curriculum Developer with the MSP. He recently completed a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of Utah, specializing in couples therapy, and earned his BA in Psychology and Gender & Sexuality Studies at Yale. Colin has worked in adolescent sexual and reproductive health in several settings, focused on education and activism with young men. This includes serving as the Young Men’s Initiatives Coordinator at Advocates for Youth; Program Associate at Peer Health Exchange; Research Assistant at Child Trends; and member of the Trojan Sexual Health Advisory Council and Brown Boi Project Leadership Cohort for Masculine of Center Womyn, Men, Two-Spirit People, Transmen, and Allies for Racial and Gender Justice. Colin’s awards include the University of Utah African American Doctoral Scholars Initiative and the Dept. of Psychology Graduate Student Commendation for Service. Colin regularly presents sex education workshops at U.S. colleges with Sex Discussed Here!, and co-created “Hooking Up & Staying Hooked” – a graphic novel guide to dating and relationships for high school boys.
