Here is some audience feedback from the event:

“Really well-done… I feel I gained a stronger confidence on opening up about my struggles with other friends, and a greater desire to help my other male friends. “ -Male student

“It was very powerful & inspiring, I can’t wait for next year! All of the presentations allowed me to get insight into experiences I could never imagine/live through and I think that is a very important aspect of intersectional equality.” -Female student

“[I] liked the intimate setting: a space where participants felt at ease to share their experience. There is a huge benefit for these kinds of presentations to take place for men. Can open up more about their experiences in order to change prevalent mindsets. Was glad to learn from other men’s stories.” -Male community member

“I think it’s an amazing space to talk about a topic that is not as mainstream as it should be… welcoming to conversation, free of judgement, and open to comments from all perspectives.” -Female student
